For over 17 years, Soupline Supper has gathered the Santa Cruz County community to raise support for people experiencing homelessness. Student volunteers, corporate teams, faith-based groups, and kind-hearted individuals help make this important fundraiser a great success.
All volunteer positions include a $5.00 discount off parking and food provided specifically for you during your Orientation/Training at the start of your shift (if you would like to enjoy the event as a guest in addition to your volunteer service, we request that you discuss it with our Volunteer Coordinator in advance of the event.)

Pick up soup from restaurant donors around Santa Cruz County and deliver to Cocoanut Grove
Volunteer shifts available between 12:00 – 3:30pm
Orientation/Training in advance of the event TBA
Looking for 6 community members to assist as Volunteer Drivers to supplement our Board of Directors who also help with this aspect of the event
EVENT SET UP
Prep tables, set-up buffets and other tasks
Volunteer shifts available between 12:00 – 7:30pm
Looking for 5 community members to assist with prep, set-up, sales, etc.
Elevator & Outdoor Greeters
Volunteer shifts available between 3:30 – 7:00pm
Orientation/training is from 3:30 – 4:00pm at Cocoanut Grove (specific location TBA)
Looking for at least 6 greeters (1 at freight elevator, 1 at guest elevator, 2 at guest entrance, 2 at ticket table)
Volunteer shift is from 4:30 – 7:00pm

Looking for 2 Greeters for Celebrity Ladlers
Looking for 2 volunteers to work the Welcome/Info Table in the lobby
Looking for 2 volunteers to serve as a Go-fer/Floater/Runner
Looking for 1 volunteer to help with Ticket Sales
Looking for 4 volunteers to Take Tickets at the Door (iphone/android phone helpful as we’ll be using an Eventbrite app that requires scanning guest tickets—if you can agree to use your phone for this purpose, please indicate in your email.)
